Mods are able to add countless hours of replayability and new content to the games they develop for. It's always impressive to see the kinds of things modders can do with games like Breath of the Wild. They even added a witch NPC who has to be encountered by being shot down in the form of a bird before they'll sell potions to the player. The player will now be able to buy cooked food items in a shop, as well as special order it with specific ingredients for specific effects. The new shop system alone apparently took the developers months to get working correctly. Although none of the areas seem quite as extensive as the playable Skywind Temple added by another modder, but are impressive nonetheless. It also adds crafting, revamped shrines, and quality of life changes as well. The mod adds tons of new content, including new quests, areas, weapons, NPCs, and enemies. There are mods that range in scale from expansive total conversion mods that restore Hyrule to what it was before the calamity, to silly replacement mods that do things like turn Link into a goose or the Master Cycle Zero into a Toyota. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild mods run a massive breadth of size and tone. It's especially popular among modders, who have found great joy in adding new and interesting content into the game. Skyrim for the Nintendo Switch is available for $60 on the Eshop or at any of your favorite game stores.The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is probably one of Nintendo's most popular titles in a long time. If you're still unsure on how the game would look like on the Switch, check out this five minute gameplay video. This is the price the game has to pay for portability, so if being able to play Skyrim on the go is your top priority, you’ll surely find Skyrim for the Switch impressive enough. It is unknown whether mods will ever be supported on the Switch but it is highly unlikely, even though it's Xbox One and PS4 counterparts had a somewhat limited mod support. PC players of the game won’t be pleased with this version since mods will not be supported at launch.

For example, while the Switch is docked in your TV, the game operates at a native resolution of 1600 x 900 however, when you switch to the handheld mode, the game scales down to a 896 x 720 which is 70 percent of the native pixel count. Skyrim on the Switch is awesome and is a good way to encourage other third parties to develop for the Switch (check out our review of Doom for the Switch). However, due to the limitations of the hardware, compromises have to be made.
